A SINGER-songwriter from Australia will bring some sunshine into your lives by playing a number of gigs in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Chris Aronsten plays the guitar, fiddle and mandolin with warm passionate vocals and original songs, and he will be playing a string of gigs around the Midlands this month including the Hop Pole on Sunday nights, The Brook Inn at Elcocks Brook on Mondays and the Oddfellows Arms in Astwood Bank on Tuesday, July 7 and 21.
“I’ve played in the area a couple of times before and I really love the level of musical appreciation here in the pubs, folk clubs and festivals.
“The music lovers keep drawing me back,” said Chris.
He has recently appeared at festivals and folk clubs in Australia and the UK including Woodford, Yackandandah, TurningWave, Uranquinty, Maldon and Music at the Creek and the National Folk Festival in Canberra as well as Warwick Folk Festival and Broadstairs Folk Week in the UK in 2007. He is also on the program for the Warwick Folk Festival on the last weekend of July.
