British model Jourdan Dunn has walked on catwalks all over the world this year but said her 2016 highlight was Honey G’s elimination from The X Factor.
She hopes boy band 5 After Midnight will triumph in the competition.
Jourdan told the Press Association she watches the show with her young son Riley.
Dressed in a white bandeau top and trousers by Brandon Maxwell on the red carpet at the Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, she said: “I don’t want to be anti anyone but I felt like her time was up, I just couldn’t deal with her.
“I want 5 After Midnight to win, I want them to win in life.
“I just love seeing young people doing their thing – they can sing, they can dance, they are easy on the eye and I just want them to win in life.”
On watching the show with her little boy, she said: “He gets really into it. We get into our pyjamas and he starts shouting and dancing.
“This year has been a bit rubbish, apart from music, which has been great with Solange and Beyonce.
“Everything else has been very weird. But Honey G not making it to the semi-finals was a highlight.”
