STAND-BY for a special night of theatre production at speed when the talented trio of The Reduced Shakespeare Company tackle The Bible.

They will be performing at Bromsgrove’s Artrix on Saturday, March 14, when it’s surely going to be apocalypse now as the three cultural guerrillas of of the company set their reductive sights on the Book of Genesis and beyond.

Can bolts of lightning be far behind?

It’s going to be an affectionate, irreverent roller-coaster ride from fig leaves to Final Judgment as they tackle the great theological questions: Did Adam and Eve have navels? Did Moses really look like Charlton Heston? And why isn't the word ‘phonetic’ spelled the way it sounds?

Whatever your religion, you will be tickled by the RSC's slick romp through the Old Testament and more.

The visit to Bromsgrove is part of their national tour of more than 50 venues running through to November 30.
