ONE of the country’s top female comedians will shortly be treading the boards at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Nina Conti is not only an award-winning comedian, she is also a ground-breaking ventriloquist and acclaimed filmmaker.
She was winner of the British Comedy Award for Best Female (2013) and has appeared on ITV’S Sunday Night at the London Palladium, BBC’s Live at the Apollo, QI, Russell Howard’s Good News and HBO’s Family Tree. She received a BAFTA nomination for her hugely praised documentary Her Master’s Voice.
She has previously appeared at the RSC in Stratford as an actor in productions including As You Like It and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and her evening show on Sunday, January 25, will be compered by Russell Kane, with support from Kerry Godliman.
