BEER Central festival, We Are Beer’s first festival in the Midlands, is promising to bring the best in beer, food and music to 119 in Digbeth this weekend.

Taking place across Friday and Saturday, July 5 and 6, the festival will celebrate both local and international breweries, attracting beer aficionados as well as music fans from across the country.

The Beer Central line-up will feature world-class beer, top music, and food from Brad Carter of Carters of Moseley.

There will be 20 plus local beer legends such as Neon Raptor, Glass House and Dig Brew Co. alongside top UK breweries including Siren, Deya, Wild Beer and Thornbridge.

Music wise there will be DJ sets from Kaiser Chiefs and DJ Yoda, who will be joined by one of London’s most legendary events – Hip Hop Karaoke.

Brad Carter of Carters of Moseley will also join the food line-up for the inaugural festival.

Birmingham born chef Brad, who has appeared on television’s Saturday Kitchen, will be on hand to bring his inimitable style to the festival.

There will be an extensive food offering from a selection of Birmingham’s other top restaurants and chefs, including street food giants Original Patty Men and Baked in Brick.

Festival goers all-in ticket means all of their beer is covered during the event – that’s right, all their beer.
