DAVIES Benjamin Trevor (Ben) Retired Senior Lecturer and Reader at the University of Birmingham. Died peacefully at Wayside Nursing Home, Bromsgrove, on 23rd May 2012 after a long illness. Previously of Birmingham Road, Marlbrook, Bromsgrove. A dearly loved husband, father and grandfather, who will be sadly missed. Cremation at Worcester Crematorium, Tintern Avenue, off Astwood Road, on Friday 8th June at 12:00 noon. Afterwards, all are welcome for refreshments and a buffet lunch. Flowers or donations in Ben’s memory for the Salvation Army for their work with the homeless should be sent to James Giles & Sons Ltd, 24 Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove B61 0AE. Tel 01527 872318.
