MEMBERS of a Bromsgrove gym have been donning superheroes outfits to help launch their new charity initiative.
David Lloyd gym, in Slideslow Drive, is part of the David Lloyd group which has joined forces with Together for Short Lives - the leading charity supporting UK children’s hospices.
On May 3, members and staff from the Bromsgrove gym were asked to dress as their favourite superheroes for the day, while youngsters also enjoyed a special superhero party.
Superhero outfits worn for the event included Batman, Spider-man and Supergirl.
The event was organised to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice, which the Bromsgrove gym has selected as its charity for the year.
Andrew Day, David Lloyd Bromsgrove’s general manager, said: “We are excited to be launching the partnership and look forward to seeing our members and team members take part in our superhero fund-raising activities, and raise money for this very special cause.”
