POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for witnesses and examining CCTV footage after a bicycle and a scooter were taken from outside High Street shops last week.
Both incidents occurred on Tuesday, August 27, on Bromsgrove High Street. The first took place between 1.30 and 1.50pm, and involved the theft of a blue Madd Nitro Extreme scooter from outside UK Barbers, while the owner was inside the shop. The second incident occurred between 1.30 and 1.40, and involved the theft of a purple BMX Hoffman pedal cycle from outside Sports Direct while the owner was inside. Both the scooter and the bicycle were unsecured.
Bromsgrove police are currently examining CCTV footage of both incidents, but anyone who may have witnessed either incident, or who knows the whereabouts of the stolen scooter or bicycle, should contact PCSO Jack Ford on 101 quoting incident no. 310s270813 for the scooter, or 301s270813 for the bicycle.
