BROMSGROVE’S Dolphin Centre has achieved a Quest Plus accreditation of ‘good’ after an intensive two-day assessment which rigorously challenged the leisure centre and its staff.
The Quest scheme measures quality standards within the leisure industry, assessing how well leisure centres work through mystery telephone calls and on-site assessment of the customer experience, health and safety practises, the centre’s commitment to continuous improvement and the staff team as a whole.
Jon Trevillion, centre manager at the Dolphin Centre, said: “I am very pleased with both the assessment score and the team’s performance throughout the Quest process.
“We have all worked really hard to ensure we deliver the very best experience to our customers.”
Quest’s operations director, Caroline Constantine, added: “Quest Plus is a step up from the entry level Quest and as such it is a more demanding process. By meeting Quest’s high standards the Dolphin Centre has shown its commitment to providing quality facilities and service to its customers. In these tough economic times it is more important than ever that local leisure facilities can demonstrate their value, and the Quest process helps them do just that.”
