A BROMSGROVE school celebrated a milestone anniversary by taking youngsters on a trip back in time.
Catshill Middle School is this year celebrating its 75th anniversary.
The school, originally known as Catshill County Senior School, first opened on January 11, 1939 - at the Meadow Road site it still occupies today.
To celebrate 75 years of the school, staff have arranged various activities to celebrate its history.
The first of the events was a 1939 day - where children and staff donned clothes from this period, while children were given a taste of what education would have been like for their counterparts that year.
Kate Sabin, from the school, said other activities being organised include a tea party, and an archive exhibition.
She added that former pupils and staff are also being invited to return, and share their memories of the school at these events.
