MEMBERS at David Lloyd Bromsgrove have been pushing themselves to the limit with an eight-hour challenge in aid of Sport Relief.
David Lloyd Leisure is the official fitness partner for this year's Sport Relief and as such set a challenge to its members to run, swim or cycle the distance from the company's Aberdeen club to its Exeter club, a total of 572 miles.
More than 100 fitness fanatics took part at the Bromsgrove location, going above and beyond the call of duty by covering a total of 638 miles. A total of £1,575 was raised for the charity.
David Lloyd Bromsgrove general manager Andrew Day said: “It’s such an honour to be the Official Fitness Partner of Sport Relief. I would like to thank all our members and team members who got involved with our fundraising activities for this fantastic cause.
"The money raised by the public will give extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK and throughout the world a helping hand to turn their lives around.”
