A TEAM from Bromsgrove has turned a banger into bucks for the Primrose Hospice during the Benidorm or Bust car rally.
The challenge sees teams buy an old car worth no more than a few hundred pounds, adapt it to a theme of their choice and take it on a navigational challenge from Blackpool to Benidorm, all in order to raise as much cash for charity as possible.
The Sleazyjet team adapted a white Ford Galaxy into an impressive airline hostess carrier and, just to make sure they looked the part, decided to drive the whole distance in rather fetching airline hostess costumes.
The group joined the rally in Birmingham and team member Mark Ward said: "We wanted to do something that would make an impact. We got a few stares but it was really good fun.
"We missed out on the best car award but won best fancy dress and anything to come back with was a bonus."
