FOLK fans are set to be entertained by a performance from an acoustic trio next month.
Mumbo-Jumbo will be performing at Bromsgrove Folk Club on Thursday, September 11.
Led by two of the Midlands' most experienced Blues musicians; Oliver Carpenter and Chris Lomas, they will be joined by top piano player Phil Ball.
The trio combine to produce a sound all of their own playing uplifting, innovative original songs plus some more familiar tunes, all delivered with a real sense of humour.
Their album, Life of Riley, has received rave reviews and radio airplay, plus a nomination in the British Blues Awards for Best Songwriting.
The event is being held at Bromsgrove Folk Club’s home, Catshill Social Club in Meadow Road, starting at 8.15pm.
