MORE than 50 students from Bromsgrove recently graduated from the University of Worcester.
Eight ceremonies took place in Worcester Cathedral with around 4,000 students collecting their degrees.
All the graduates were congratulated by the university’s vice chancellor, Professor David Green.
He said: “The beauty and grandeur of Worcester Cathedral always provides a magnificent, most fitting setting in which to congratulate our graduates and to thank the parents, family, friends and supporters who have contributed so much to their success.
“The graduates of 2014 join an illustrious community of over 100,000 Worcester graduates who have made and are making an immense contribution to British society. We look forward to hearing about the continuing success of this year’s graduates in the year ahead, and we wish them every happiness.”
After the service the students visited the University of Worcester Arena for a drinks reception.
