A STREET collection in Bromsgrove raised hundreds of pounds for the Nepal Earthquake Disaster Appeal.
The collection was held in High Street on Saturday, May 9, and was organised by the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire.
Dave Foster, president of the Rotary Club of North Worcestershire, said: "The collection raised £620 on the day with further donations still trickling in.
"North Worcestershire Rotary has pledged its support to help victims with long term support, which will provide for sustainable community projects once the immediate emergency has been dealt with.
"The Rotary Club members also agreed to give an immediate donation of £1,000 out of its own club trust fund to Shelterbox and Water Survival Box to help families in need of emergency shelter and vital supplies."
