TOWNSFOLK are being warned to expect disruption as a new height barrier is installed on Parkside car park.
Work on the barrier began yesterday, May 26, and is expected to last around a week.
The car park remains open during the work but to reduce risk of injury or accident, visitors using the pay and display car park are unable to use the normal one way system.
Temporary signage has been installed to instruct visitors on how to get in and out of the car park, but some queuing and traffic build up could occur, particularly at busy times.
Matthew Mead, senior engineering technician, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the works and aim to keep disruption to a minimum. The work will ensure that visitors can continue to use the car park on a daily basis into the future.”
For more details on the work please call Matt Mead on 01527 64252 3345 or email matthew.mead@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk.
