BROMSGROVE Round Table is inviting people to an open evening to find out more about the organisation.

The Round Table is the largest young men’s organisation in the country and organises various activities for members including karting, brewery tours, curry nights, sports nights, casino trips and zorbing.

As well as the social events there are also community projects such as Santa's sleigh and bigger projects including renovating the paddling pool area at Dodford Children's farm, both designed to put something back into the community and learn new skills at the same time.

Bromsgrove Round Table chairman, Jon Lear, said: "Finding time to do something to widen your social circle is really difficult, and there are a range of work and family pressures that absorb your time.

"Round Table gives you the opportunity to experience things you wouldn't normally get to do, and is a great opportunity to do something different with a weeknight.

"When you come and find out more about what we do, then we will even give you an opportunity to try us out, as we will give you your first event free of charge."

The open evening is being held at the Ewe and Lamb, in Hanbury Road, between 7.30pm and 9pm on Thursday, July 2.
