A BROMSGROVE beauty therapist is seeking her town’s support as she bids to be crowned Miss Worcestershire 2016.

Emilie Morris, 21, is looking to win the coveted title of Miss Worcestershire 2016 at the ceremony in January.

Miss Morris, who is also the reigning Miss Bromsgrove, said: “I am currently going through the preparations for the Miss Worcestershire finals which are held in January – such as getting as much publicity for Bromsgrove as I can as well as promoting myself to help me win this crown.

“I have to have an evening dress prepared, fashion wear, sportswear and make my own dress which is called the Eco dress.

“I would love any support from Bromsgrove as I am representing us in the Worcestershire finals which, if I win, will lead to the official Miss England finals in the summer.

“I have entered the competition before which is how I won Miss Bromsgrove. I wanted to go for Miss Worcestershire and try and aim for a crown, as Worcestershire is my home county.

“The charity I am supporting is Beauty with a Purpose which is an umbrella charity that helps disadvantaged children, locally, nationally and worldwide.”

Emilie has set up a Facebook page to document her journey to the Miss Worcestershire 2016 finals in January. You can find the page by searching for ‘Emilie Morris - Miss Worcestershire 2016 Finalist’ on Facebook.

She has also set up a Virgin Money page to raise funds for Beauty with a Purpose, which can be found at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/EmilieMorris.
