A MAN was burgled in his own home in Dodford on Monday, leading to a police appeal.
The offender - described as being aged between 20 and 40-years-old - stole jewellery from a house on Parish Hill, Dodford, at around 8.45pm on September 26.
The man gained access to the house after standing in the doorway of the homeowner and telling him he had seen two young men walk into the rear of the property.
After being let in by the homeowner to check the men were not there, he returned downstairs and left via the front door after claiming he did not see anybody.
The owner noticed a drawer was left open and a number of jewellery items missing.
Anyone with information is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting the incident reference number 662s of September 26.
