EXPECT some sleet and snow showers tonight, with several spells of widespread rain across north Worcestershire and the Black Country.
Sleet and snow are set to move southwards as the evening goes on, with winds remaining strong throughout the night.
It will turn colder in the early hours of Friday morning, bringing widespread ice and a severe frost. Minimum temperatures could plummet to -3°C.
Looking ahead to Friday, sleet and snow are expected to clear, making way for a mainly dry day with some sunny spells and only a few isolated showers.
However it will stay windy, especially in the morning, with maximum temperatures only reaching 5°C.
