IT will look gloomy this morning with cloud and rain expected, but plenty of sunshine and high temperatures will return by the afternoon.
A mild, cloudy and damp start across the Black Country and North Worcestershire with also see patches of rain at first today (Thursday, March 30).
But most places will be dry by lunchtime, with skies turning sunnier and feeling warm, bringing with it a maximum temperature of 19C.
In some areas it is expected to be the hottest day of the year, and the hottest day in March for some five years.
By the evening, most will see a dry and mild night with just a few spots of rain in places and a minimum temperature of 9C.
