A NINE-year-old girl from Stoke Prior will be chopping a lengthy 20 inches off her locks to raise money for the Little Princess Trust.
St John's Middle School pupil Rosie Lee currently has hair down to her knees, but will be having it cut to shoulder-length at the end of this week, to help young girls and boys fighting cancer.
Rosie's mum Adele Smith Lee said: "We've been trying to get Rosie to have it cut for a while and she has always said no, but then she saw something on the internet about doing it for charity.
"She's always had long hair - she was born with long hair, so she's quite nervous about having it cut off but I'm very proud of her for doing it."
Rosie is hoping to raise £350 to pay for the wig to be made. To donate, visit justgiving.com/fundraising/Adele-Lee1.
