NEW play equipment for children of all abilities has officially opened in Bromsgrove's Sanders Park.
Choir members at Chadsgrove School marked the launch on Saturday (July 15), after pupils played a vital role in the consultation process for the newly-installed disabled-friendly facilities.
Works to the existing Kidderminster Road play area were completed on Friday after areas were closed off for four weeks.
New additions to the park include an accessible spinning roundabout, textural and multi-coloured surfacing, musical instruments and interactive play panels.
Some of the new equipment has been specifically designed for children with visual or hearing impairments.
Bromsgrove District Councillor Peter Whittaker, whose portfolio covers leisure, said: "This play equipment, which is accessible to all, means all of our younger residents can get the most fun out of our park and all in time for the Summer holidays.”
