ICY footpaths and roads in areas of Bromsgrove are halting household waste collections in certain areas.
Bromsgrove District Council ensured its crews are out in force today, but that collections may be slower due to the weather.
Frankley, Lickey End, Romsley and Rubery are worst affected, and residents are being advised to leave their bins out, and workers will endeavour to collect them later today, weather conditions permitting.
A spokesman for the council said: "If your bin has not been collected today we will attempt to return on Tuesday, January 2."
Bulky waste collection services will resume from January 8 and trade waste collections are continuing as normal.
Crews are also working hard to catch up on septic tank services.
