A SHOPPING park on the site of the former MG Rover has been sold for £53.6 million.
St Modwen has agreed the sale of Longbridge Shopping Park to Columbia Threadneedle Investments.
The site currently includes stores including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Smyths Toys, Boots, and Poundland.
Developer St Modwen say the sale will enable them to create "significant further opportunities" on the former MG Rover land, which spans Cofton Hackett and Longbridge.
Guy Gusterson, property director at St Modwen, said: "We’ve created a vital, sustainable environment in the heart of the Midlands, where people want to live, work, relax and invest. It’s a whole new community.
"We are only half way through the redevelopment of Longbridge and are committed to ensuring we deliver a legacy that we can all be proud of."
