ALL lanes have now re-opened aftera trailer containing livestock overturned on the M5 at Catshill.
Fire services attended the scene to deal with the incident at junction four at around 11.30am on Wedneday, May 16.
A Highways England spokesman said: "Traffic now held in both directions on the M5 within J4A Worcestershire to transfer livestock following earlier overturned trailer.
"Livestock on board being secured and made safe currently. The road will be blocked soon in both directions to safely move cattle."
One lane was closed and slow traffic was being reported on the M5 Southbound at J4A M42.
Lane one of two was closed while the situation was recovered, while northbound was also affected, with police warning drivers to avoid the route if possible.
But northbound re-opened by 1.45pm and southbound followed 30 minutes later, although 30 minute delays were still expected.
