A CARE home in Bromsgrove has held its own awards ceremony to celebrate the hard work of its staff during National Carers Week.
St John's Court handed out awards like 'Heart of Gold' and 'Tea Fixes Everything' to its team members to recognise their commitment to the elderly residents in their care.
Other awards included 'Thinking Outside the Box', 'Above and Beyond' and 'Positive Participator'.
After the awards ceremony, staff and residents enjoyed a barbecue on the care home terrace.
Care home manager Laura Wilkes said: "I am very proud of the team of St John’s Court and their commitment and hard work in making a difference to the lives of the ladies and gentlemen who we support and they all deserve to be recognised."
