ELDERLY residents and staff at St John's Court held their summer fundraiser on the day of Bromsgrove Carnival, with stalls, a tombola, barbecue and bouncy castle.
The care home's residents sat outside to watch the parade floats going past, while passers-by popped by browse the books, food, clothes and accessories on sale.
Faye Upton, deputy manager at St John's Court, said: "Residents and staff of St Johns Court had a busy Saturday afternoon holding their own summer fundraiser, this fell on the same day as Bromsgrove carnival and the atmosphere was brilliant.
"It was a very enjoyable day and we wanted to thank everyone who took part to make it happen."
The event raised £260 for the St John's and Housman Court's residents' fund.
