THE open date for Bromsgrove's new Lidl supermarket has been announced.
Shoppers are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bromsgrove Retail Park in Birmingham Road on Thursday, October 11 at 8am, when the store will welcome its first customers.
Guests can sample some of Lidl's award-winning products throughout the day, and take advantage of exclusive deals and offers for the first week of opening.
The new supermarket has created 40 new jobs and features an in-store bakery, longer-style tills with dual packing, customer toilets and baby-changing facilities.
Lidl's regional head of property Jeremy Lee said: "We would like to thank all those who have played a part in bringing this new Lidl store to Bromsgrove.
"It is great for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area, and we can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community.”
