A LONG standing Bromsgrove based society will be showcasing their works at a special exhibition.

Lickey Hills Art Society will have an exhibition at the Artrix until December 2.

The grand scale exhibition covers all three floors of the Artrix building with more than 150 works of art in many styles and mediums.

The exhibition is open from 10am until 4pm Monday to Saturday and 7pm to 9pm on performance nights.

Jennie Wilson, from Lickey Hills Art Society, said: “Our group has lots of experienced and talented artists and we are very proud to showcase their work in this fantastic exhibition.

“If you’re visiting the Artrix in the next couple of weeks or you’re just passing by, do stop in and take a look around. There are so many different styles and mediums on show it’s easy to take a break and enjoy immersing yourself in the art.”

Lickey Hills Art Society is being supported by Bromsgrove District Council as part of an Arts Development Service initiative.

The society is open to anyone to join and the group meets on the first Saturday of every month at 7.30pm at Longbridge Methodist Church.
