ROBBERS who burst into a double glazing company and assaulted a member of staff before fleeing with cash are being hunted by police.

West Merica Police have issued an appeal for help in finding the gang who struck at 7.45am on Saturday, February 16.

A number of suspects entered Roman Glass which occupies an industrial unit in Bruntsford Park, Bromsgrove.

They assaulted a member of staff and stole a quantity of cash before running out onto Bruntsford Park Road.

The victim, a man in his 20s , was not injured but was left shaken following the incident.

One of the suspects is described as between 30 to 50 years old, is believed to have spoken with either an Irish or Scottish accent and was wearing trainers.

PC Daniel Icke said: "I would like to reassure the community that we take all reports of this nature extremely seriously.

"We are keen for anyone who saw the incident or was in the area between 7.40am and 7.55am to please come forward.

"Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation."
