TWO people suffered minor injuries after a collision between a bus and a car in Amblecote, Stourbridge, this lunchtime.

The accident happened shortly before 1pm on the High Street, outside the Ruby Cantonese restaurant near the junction with Wollaston Road.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to reports of a collision between a car and a double-decker bus.

When a crew arrived they discovered two male patients with minor injuries, one was believed to have been travelling in the car and the other in the bus.

Both were taken by ambulance to Russells Hall Hospital. 

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent two crews - one from Stourbridge and one from Brierley Hill.

They arrived to find that there was nobody trapped and left after making the scene safe.

The road was closed while emergency services were on the scene.
