WE'VE had a fantastic response to our challenge for News Group Camera Club members to encapsulate the long-awaited arrival of the 'First Signs Of Spring' - and here's a selection of six of the best!

Dozens of entries were submitted, capturing the very essence of the transition from the long, dark days of winter - and, with the unseasonal warmth which brought February to a close, they're the perfect taster of what now lies ahead!

Our Camera Club welcomes your photos on all sorts of subjects, be they news events, scenery, wildlife, sunsets or whatever else inspires our members to snap away.

And with nearly 900 members having now joined the ranks, it's the perfect forum to share tips and advice, showcase your favourite shots, or simply scroll through and admire the stunning work of others.
