STOURBRIDGE classical music lovers are set for a treat later this month when charity fundraisers Gig Caritas commence their 2019 programme with a performance on Handel's Messiah on Saturday March 23.
The concert takes place at St Thomas's Church in Market Street starting at 7.30pm when the Gig Caritas Chorus join forces with Stourbridge Chamber Orchestra under the experienced baton of conductor Keith Horsfall.
Soloists taking part include the popular Lizzie Peacock, Jude Moreland, Ashley Turnell and Mike Dernie who will all be performing in memory of Alex Ross.
Money raised from the concert will go towards Dudley Crossroads who support carers in and around Dudley Borough.
Tickets cost £10 and can be obtained from the website: www.gigcaritas.org.uk or from Harris and Son butchers in Bridgnorth Road, Wollaston.
