MADAM - I am disappointed at the storage facilities for cyclists in Bromsgrove.

There are currently no bike racks at the end of the high street, outside WH Smiths. This means that I have to leave my bike chained to some nearby railings, when I visit this end of town.

The bicycle storage at the library is located adjacent to a busy junction. It is very difficult and unsafe for cyclists to access the racks during busy "rush hour" periods.

There are no cycle racks at the Victoria Ground. This means that, if I want to watch my local football club, I face the choice between trespassing on somebody's business (the Lidl over the road) or leaving it at the motorcycle racks near the Queen's Head. This is still some distance away from the ground.

In my view, the council should be doing everything that they can to encourage people to use this healthy, environmentally friendly form of transport. Bromsgrove District Council seem to be stuck in the dark ages with their backwards attitude towards cyclists.
