BROMSGROVE artists Dave Dolphin and Lorna Hill have joined forces to stage an exhibition of their work at the Artrix Gallery throughout May.

The pair first met while studying water colour painting at the former NEW College and have remained friends ever since.

Both have proved strong supporters of the local art scene in Bromsgrove.

Their work features around 120 of their paintings and artefacts which can be viewed at the Artrix - all of which are available for sale.

The pair provide contrasting styles of work with Dave specialising in characterful, loose application of water colour while Lorna's work includes the use of various painting mediums in ranging from fractured through to realism.

Their work will be on display at the Artrix until Sunday, June 2.

The Artrix is open from 9am until 2pm every Monday to Friday and from 10am until 2pm on Saturday.

Such is the popularity of the venue, that exhibition space at the Artrix is fully booked up until 2020 and no new bookings are being taken for the time being.
