SANDERS Park is preparing to kickstart a string on summer events by holding a 'Hub Day' this Saturday (May 4).

The event will provide fun for all the family with activities, games and sports all taking place at the popular Bromsgrove venue.

Bromsgrove Youth Hub are the brains behind the event and have been working in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council to bring the park to life.

Visitors can try their hand at golf and tennis taster sessions while youngsters can take advantage of some face painting, children's activities, bouncy castle, glitter tattoos, biscuit decorating together with craft and community stalls.

They'll also be a police car and fire engine on hand for youngsters to get close up to.

In addition to that, both West Mercia Police, together with Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service will be putting on community safety displays and demonstrations.

Bromsgrove Youth Hub runs from Monday to Friday every week at New Road Baptist Church from 3pm.

Anyone who would like more information about the group should contact Sarah on 07827 917211 or simply go to The Hub Bromsgrove facebook page.
