RESIDENTS are being invited to Bromsgrove Art Society's annual art exhibition.
The week-long event will see 300 paintings on display, all of which will be for sale, with prices from a few pounds to more than £100.
It is being held at All Saints Church, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove from May 18 to May 25.
Mike Hurst, from the art society, said: "The Exhibition is going to be more crucial than usual for us this year, as for the first time, it is only going to be on for one week.
"All Saints Church is in desperate need of funds for repairs, following the theft of lead from the roof and the damage it also caused to the fabric of the building.
"A donation of money raised from the exhibition, including the commission on the sale of paintings, and entry programmes, will go toward the ongoing church restoration funds."
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm each day, except on Sunday, May 19, when it will be open from noon until 4pm.
Entry will be by programme (which lists all the artists and their paintings), and these will be available in the church when the exhibition is open, at a cost of just £2.
