ARTRIX cinema in Bromsgrove will be presenting two films that are out of this world.
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the first man on the moon, the venue is screening the breathtakingly beautiful documentary Apollo 11 on Friday, August 9 at 11am.
A Spokesman said: "Crafted from a newly discovered trove of footage, Apollo 11 has gathered rave reviews as it takes people straight to the heart of NASA’s most celebrated mission that first put men on the moon.
"Later the same day, adult audiences can experience one of the most terrifying films of its time, Ridley Scott’s sci-fi masterpiece, Alien. This special 40th anniversary screening of the gripping modern classic, starring Sigourney Weaver, will be presented in glorious Sony 4K."
Alien is rated 15 and tickets for Alien on Friday, August 9 at 7.30pm are £8 (£6 for concessions).
The films are part of Bromsgrove Space week (starting August 3).
