UPTON Warren Sailing Club is opening its gates for anyone to try sailing for free next Saturday (August 10).
Situated at Aztec Adventure Upton Warren, near Bromsgrove, anyone who fancies getting afloat can have a go between 12-5pm.
Aztec Adventure Upton Warren is a recognised RYA Training Centre, with volunteers and professional qualified instructors on hand.
All kit and safety equipment is provided so visitors just need to bring a pair of old trainers they don’t mind getting wet.
With the centre’s busy Aqua Park and cafes set to be buzzing on a summer holiday Saturday afternoon, everyone who is spectating and not directly involved in the other activities going on at Aztec on the day will also be offered a free taster sail.
The afternoon is part a national series of 'Try Sailing This Summer' events organised by sailing’s national governing body, the RYA (Royal Yachting Association), aimed at giving more people the chance to get on the water.
