POTENTIAL police officers of the future and fledgling firefighters in the making can attend a special open day in Bromsgrove at the end of the summer holidays.
Bromsgrove Police and Fire Station is holding an open day on Saturday, August 31 at its Slideslow Drive base.
The day will give youngsters - and adults - the chance to learn about the behind-the-scenes lives of the officers and firefighters.
There will be police and fire vehicles on display, a smoke house, firearms officers, a chip pan fire demonstration and more.
Admission is free to the event, which runs from 12-4pm.
