A DERELICT factory went up in flames in an arson attack in Netherton in the early hours of this morning (Sunday August 18).
A total of 20 firefighters were called out at 4.10am to tackle the blaze at the former Atlas Flooring premises in Saltwells Road.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said 20 per cent of the building suffered fire damage in the incident which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews had to use a hydraulic platform to put out the flames - and they finally left the scene just before 9.20am.
