KIDDERMINSTER Carolians continued their preparations for the new season with a warm-up win against Bridgnorth at Marlpool Lane.
The benefits of the KC pre-season training emphasis on fitness and organisation was very evident in most aspects of their play and all four quarters ended with KCs on the attack. The game was played over four, 20 minute periods and the KC squad, despite missing a number of key forwards, outscored the visitors by seven tries to five to bag a 41-29 success.
Try scorers were Rhys Pritchard, Dave Kane (2_, Ryan Tiene, Tom Dalton, Alex Royal and Alex Thompson.
The season starts this Saturday as the KCs welcome Stoke to start life in Midlands One West (3pm kick-off).
