WOULD you like to see more bars and less charity shops in the town centre?

More things for young people to do?

Do you live in an area that desperately needs a good clean?

Well, now is the time to tell Bromsgrove Council.

A wide-ranging survey that helps inform the council’s thinking for the year ahead has launched.

The annual Community Survey asks residents for their views and opinions about issues affecting them, their local area, and borough council services.

The results are then reported to members and officers of the council.

Cllr Geoff Denaro, whose portfolio covers policy and performance, said: “The council gets feedback from our residents in lots of ways and from many places, but this annual survey is an important one.

"The results shine a light on how people across the district feel about a range of issues.

"All your responses are appreciated, and the results help to inform the council plan which is an important part of the local decision-making process.”

The 2019 survey is available for anyone to take part at www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/consultations, and will also go before the council’s community panel, a group of residents who choose to actively take part in regular engagement sessions.

The closing date for responses is midnight on Sunday 29 September 2019.

It covers a range of areas and should take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete, with the option to 'save and continue' if people want to take a break while filling it in.
