A MAN has been threatened with a knife at a cashpoint in Rubery.

A man in his 60s withdrew cash and was then threatened by another man, who is believed to have been holding a bladed object.

A quantity of cash was stolen before the man left in the direction of St Chads.

The victim was uninjured but was shaken up by the incident, which happened around 8am yesterday (September 3).

A police spokesman said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing. Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information that can help police with enquiries. They would also like anyone who was in the area at the time or who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously to come forward.

"The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 112S of 3 September."
