A MOTORBIKE rider has been seriously injured in a crash in Halesowen.
The air ambulance was scrambled after the bike hit the central reservation on Manor Way, just after 12.20pm today (Saturday, September 14).
The female motorcyclist was assessed by paramedics before she was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
There was gridlock in the town as the A456 was blocked in both directions.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and officers from West Midlands Police attended the crash.
A spokesman for West Midland Police said: "Police were called after a motorbike hit the central reservation on Manor Way, Halesowen, just after 12.20pm today (September 14).
"A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries."
