BUOYANT Bewdley Town remain level pegging at the top of the table with rivals Shifnal Town after coming from behind to beat third placed Worcester Raiders 3-1 at Ribbesford Meadow.

Raiders raced into a fourth minute lead when Kirk Layton converted before Bewdley battled back to take control.

Bewdley had already blown a 28th minute penalty chance before Luke Morris levelled on the half hour.

Dylan Hart then fired Bewdley in front from a second penalty two minutes before half time.

Hart was on target again from another spot kick on 80 minutes to make certain of the points as Bewdley registered their sixth successive league victory.

Bewdley bid to continue their winning spree when entertaining next to bottom Cradley Town this Saturday.

Cradley continue to struggle after letting an early lead slip to lose 3-1 at home to Oldbury based Black Country Rangers.

Jordan Smart gave Cradley a promising start when he turned home a 22nd minute free kick from Adam Skeldon.

But Cradley's failure to defend from corners was to prove costly as former Stourbridge striker Kayelden Brown netted twice from a couple of crosses before substitute Tobias Cook-Siviter struck from another set piece.

Black Country rise to fifth place as a result of this success and will attempt to climb higher when they host Darlaston Town this Saturday.

Lewis Taylor-Boyce scored twice for Dudley Town who recovered from a 2-1 deficit at Wednesfield to reel off a 4-2 triumph - a result that takes them up to ninth place.

Goals from Brad Shinton and Will Osborne had put Wednesfield in the driving seat by half time but determined Dudley hit back, Owen Massey and Dan Jones adding to Taylor-Boyce's brace of goals.

The Robins entertain Littleton this Saturday at Sporting Khalsa's ground.

Dudley Sport's dismal run of form continued when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to AFC Bridgnorth who climb to third place as a result.

Sports didn't help their cause by having Iain Stewart sent off for a couple of yellow cards but have a real chance to get back on the winning trail this Saturday at bottom of the table Bilston Town.
