DRIVERS are being urged to avoid the A448 Kidderminster Road by Sanders Park in Bromsgrove.
Yesterday the road was closed due to flooding, which has now cleared, but people are still being urged to avoid if possible.
Peterbrook Road in Majors Green was also closed yesterday due to a high voltage cable coming down due to high winds and heavy rain.
Motorists were urged to take care and avoid the areas and find alternative routes.
Dozens of flood warnings are in place today across England with a with a yellow weather warning issued by forecasters.
The Met Office has warned that heavy rain could cause disruption due to localised flooding.
Forecasters also said that flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely while bus and train services could be affected, with journey times taking longer.
They said that spray and flooding on the roads could also make journey times longer.
