A MAN has been jailed after stealing a mobile and jewellery worth hundreds of pounds in Dudley.

Kiron Love, aged 24, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing a mobile phone worth £500 in Dudley and also admitted committing fraud by false representation. He also pleaded guilty to stealing a £970 gold chain. He was jailed for 20 weeks due to breaching a community order and was also ordered to pay £1,835 in compensation at Dudley Magistrates' Court.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates' Court last week.

Angela Oakley, aged 42, of Springpool Meadow, Dudley, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified from holding a licence and also admitted driving without insurance. She received a community order with a curfew requirement and was ordered to pay a £90 surcharge and £135 in costs.

Lauren Poole, aged 31, of Shenstone Avenue, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty. She received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £156.

Corey Spruce, aged 25, of Northfield Road, Netherton, admitted driving in Kingswinford while disqualified from holding a licence and also admitted to driving without insurance. He received a community order and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for four months. He was also ordered to pay a £90 surcharge and £135 costs.

Donald Orr, aged 55, of Sion Close, Brierley Hill, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. He was fined £200 and was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation, a £32 surcharge and £100 in costs.

Jonathon West, aged 32, of Hagley Road, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to stealing shampoo and conditioner from Boots and also admitted stealing two bottles of spirits worth £40 from the Co-Op. He received an 18 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 surcharge, £100 in costs and £40 in compensation.

Josh Cullen, aged 18, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was fined £40 and was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation, a £32 surcharge and £135 costs.

George McClean, aged 50, of Queen Street, Pensnett, pleaded guilty to driving while over the legal alcohol limit and admitted driving without due care and attention. He was ordered to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £287 and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 22 months.

Todd Southam, aged 30, of Chandler Drive, Kingswinford, pleaded guilty to driving over the legal alcohol limit on Cinder Road. He received a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was also disqualified from holding a driving licence for 42 months and was ordered to pay a surcharge and costs totalling £220.
