A FEMALE wrestled an elderly man who had just withdrawn cash from an ATM outside a bank in Rubery.
An robbery attempt was made by a female between 11.05am and 11.10am on Saturday November 2 on the corner of St Chad's Road and New Road.
The female tried to wrestle the cash off the elderly male before a passer-by went to the aid of the victim.
The suspect has been described as white with a European accent, dark hair, approximately 5’6” in height, and was wearing a knee length blue winter jacket.
Police have warned people to be aware of their surroundings when using ATM's and always cover PIN numbers when entering them onto the keypad.
